Instead of the usual potato pie the other night I tried a variant found on the October / November 2010 More Kitchen ! I reduced a little 'doses and replaced the Emmental with smoked I had at home ... excellent!

INGREDIENTS:
600-700 grams of potatoes 150 grams of smoked mozzarella
100 grams of 100 grams of cooked ham
butter salt to taste
I boiled the potatoes with my now-proven method : I have washed well, then I put them in their skins in a shallow dish, I covered with another dish, and I cooked in the microwave at full power for 6 minutes. Once I made ready cool completely, I have peeled and cut into thin slices.
I greased with butter an ovenproof dish and I ordered a layer of potato slices, I seasoned with salt, then I added a layer of smoked sliced, a cut in small cubes of mozzarella and one of ham, leaving the slices whole. I continued this way for another layer and I'm done with the potato slices, slightly overlapping each other. I brushed with melted butter and I added a bit 'of finely chopped ham.
I cooked in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
